Located in the south of Portugal, the VA House aims to provide a sense of tranquility and relaxation. The harmony between the place, the materials, the textures, and the light conveys sensations that interfere with the way we experience the space. The use of glass doors in conjunction with wooden panels creates a strong relationship with the surrounding environment in a natural way, making the house a perfect place to slow down and relax. These characteristics make us think of architecture as a whole, and so we also design exclusive pieces of furniture to complement the space and create that connection with the outside. The smooth connection between the interior and exterior spaces reflects a design that fully embraces its surroundings, inviting the outside in. The house finds its perfect balance with the surrounding landscape, blending in with the natural environment, almost becoming an extension of the horizontal planes that characterize the area.
