The Viseu Tourism Office is part of a plan to requalify the Mercado 2 de Maio, located in the city of Viseu. The project aims to integrate seamlessly with the surrounding environment while also standing out due to its program and privileged location adjacent to Rua Formosa. The development of the program and its various environments is directly influenced by the external spaces they face. The entrance to the space marks the initial point of contact with the public, allowing us to anticipate, through its architectural form, the invitation to explore further spaces. In terms of materials, the goal was to achieve a high level of homogeneity across all surfaces, creating a contrast with the more classical architecture of the exterior.
