VMV House is our most recent project. Located in Viseu, overlooking the Serra da Estrela, the house combines a stone-clad ground floor with an upper wooden volume defined by its linear expression. The language is restrained, yet intense — matter revealed through light, and landscape becoming structure. A simple house balanced between mass, light, and calm.
At VMV House, architecture embraces time as a design material.

Each space follows the path of the sun, adapting to the morning glow, the warmth of the afternoon, and the shade that precedes nightfall. The structure shelters in the colder months and opens to the landscape whenever the climate allows. The careful choice and placement of materials ensure both thermal comfort and visual harmony.

This is an architecture that endures — because it evolves with the place, the climate, and those who inhabit it.
