CM House, located in Freches, in the district of Guarda, reveals a strong connection to its rural and mountainous context. Anchored by a base of local granite that shapes the sloped terrain, the project contrasts with the lightness of the wooden upper structure, creating a dialogue between solidity and suspension. The elevated volumes — main house and atelier — allow for efficient natural ventilation, reinforcing the building’s sustainability. The use of granite, schist, and wood reflects a thoughtful architectural approach, rooted in the identity of the region.
