This Exterior Landscaping project for the AV house, located in the center of Viseu, is more than just an intervention in space — it is a proposal for refuge and an invitation to serenity. In harmony with the memory of the place, the project reinterprets its legacy, designing environments that welcome pause, contemplation and the pleasure of slow living. The former annexes are given new functions, becoming integrated into the landscape. Biophilia, strategically incorporated, ensures privacy while also strengthening the bond between the inhabitants and nature. Greenery, as an extension of the natural environment, climbs the walls, envelops the built volumes and creates spaces of shade and coolness — a garden’s embrace entering the house, offering a haven of tranquility.
