In this house, we wanted to preserve the original classical details and bring them into dialogue with a more contemporary language. The decorative mouldings, wall trims, ceiling reliefs and carefully crafted joinery retain the memory of the house and give rhythm to the spaces.
The intervention was designed to respect these details while simplifying everything around them: a light palette, soft materials, furniture with more organic lines and warm lighting that brings the classical elements into the present.
It is in this balance between what was already there and what was introduced that the identity of RCR House takes shape.
